Flesh Fiction! [June 2026]

I am thrilled to announce that volume one of the Not Quite Write Press Flesh Fiction anthology is out now! My story Carapace is the third one in - and even lovelier, my delightful friend Jayne Rice's story (which won the whole competition!!) As They Like It rightfully opens the anthology.

[My story in this anthology, Carapace, is the prototype version of the story I'm currently working on... which is currently also called "Carapace". It's a science fiction, arranged marriage romance inspired by some of the sci-fi romance authors I love, like Ruby Dixon, Zoey Draven and Victoria Aveline. It's also inspired by my fascination with historical arranged marriages - this is my attempt at exploring what that might look like for Earthlings if there was very good reason to ally ourselves through marriage with a powerful new alien species...]
